where you walk down the street and can point out something that has visibly improved in your neighborhood because you had part in making that change, in collaboration with your neighbors. Imagine as a response to that change, you and your neighbors felt more connected––to each other, to the space itself, and perhaps the nature in or around it, because of a sense of ownership of that space you helped create.
We are passionate that design is a powerful tool to establish more collective ownership. We work with neighbors to apply creative processes to achieve executable consensus on public projects. These projects build stewardship into the maintenance and revitalization of all the people and places that make up our city.
